Shiva Construction is a residential and commercial construction contractor based at 41/42, Sai Nagar, Sanjeevani Nagar, Jabalpur, MP - 482003, India. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Shiva Construction. “You” means anyone who visits our website or contacts us through the phone number, WhatsApp number, email, or lead form listed on the site.

2. Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, plus a small amount of technical data that helps us run the site.

Information you give us directly

• Lead form submissions — your name, phone number, area in Jabalpur, project type (home, duplex, commercial, renovation), and anything you write in the message box.
• Phone, WhatsApp and email conversations — the details you share when you call, message, or email us: contact details, plot details, drawings, photos, budget range, and timelines.
• Site visits — notes, measurements, sketches and photos we take during a free site visit, once you have invited us.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referrer). This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
• Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request logs (IP address, timestamp, path, user agent) for security and performance.
• Cookies — analytics cookies and a small number of functional cookies set by the browser. See the cookies section below.

3. Why we use your information

We only use your information for the purposes below:

• Respond to your enquiry and schedule a free site visit.
• Prepare and share an itemized quote for your construction, renovation or fit-out project.
• Send weekly WhatsApp progress updates with photos while your project is running, if you become a client.
• Issue invoices, receipts and maintain project records.
• Improve the website, measure marketing performance, and detect abuse or fraud.
• Comply with applicable Indian laws and lawful requests.

4. Legal basis

We rely on your consent (given when you submit the lead form or start a conversation with us) and on our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business. For active clients, we also process information to perform our contract with you and to comply with tax and record-keeping obligations under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with the service providers we need in order to run the business:

• Resend — delivers lead-form submissions to our internal email inbox.
• Google (Gmail, Google Analytics, Google Maps) — email hosting, website analytics, and directions from our office listing.
• Vercel — website hosting and analytics.
• Meta / WhatsApp — when you message us on WhatsApp, your message is delivered through WhatsApp's infrastructure and is subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
• Accountants, auditors and legal advisors — only when strictly necessary and under confidentiality.
• Government authorities — where we are required by law, court order, or a valid regulatory request.

6. Cookies

Our website uses a small number of cookies. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work.

7. How long we keep information

• Lead enquiries that do not become projects — kept for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised.
• Client project records — retained for at least 8 years after project handover, in line with Indian tax and contract record-keeping norms.
• Analytics data — retained according to Google's and Vercel's default retention windows.

8. How we protect your information

Lead-form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS. Access to our email inbox, WhatsApp business number and project records is restricted to Athang Pathak and authorised team members. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

9. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws you may:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate.
• Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
• Withdraw your consent to further processing.
• Ask us to stop sending WhatsApp progress updates or marketing messages.

10. Children

Our services are meant for adults hiring a construction contractor. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, please contact us so we can delete it.
